That’s a Wrap on the 2025 ACB Convention (by Amanda Selm

The ACB Next Generation Convention Committee has officially wrapped up an amazing term. Our committee had so much fun planning all of our NextGen-sponsored events held during the 2025 ACB Conference and Convention. Before we move into our next term, there is a great deal of recognition that we do not want to go unnoticed.
This year, we partnered with several committees and affiliates for the first time. Thank you to the ACB Mental Health & Wellness Committee, the ACB Berl Colley Leadership Institute, the ACB Advocacy Steering Committee, and ACB Diabetics in Action (ACBDA) for partnering with us to provide programs that align with our mission and core values. Thank you to the Alliance on Aging and Vision Loss (AAVL), American Council of the Blind Students, and the Randolph Shepherd Vendors of America (RSVA) for inviting us to partner with them. Thank you to TheRadioStorm.com for providing the awesome music for our pep rally, and also to all of our speakers for playing a vital role in our programs.
Last but certainly not least, we want to thank everyone who attended our events . All of our events – whether they were virtual, hybrid, or in person – were all well attended. We know that you have options on how to spend your time during the ACB Conference and Convention, and we are thrilled you decided to spend your time with us.
Our committee will soon begin making plans for programing for the 2026 ACB Conference and Convention. Plan to join us next year in St. Louis, MO from July 24 through July 31. Thanks to our entire Convention Committee for all of their hard work, and to our NextGen board for all of their support.
