Giordano’s (1.3 miles from the hotel)

If you’re looking for great thin-crust or deep-dish pizza, look no further than Giordano’s, which is open for lunch and dinner. Make sure to order your pizza with extra cheese and note that deep-dish pizza takes at least 45 minutes to cook. You can go to the restaurant or call and see if it can be delivered to the hotel.

This American-style, sit-down restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. It features soups, salads, burgers, pizza, steak, and other options grilled on their signature Weber Grills.
Portillo’s & Barnelli’s (2.4 miles from the hotel)

Open for lunch and dinner, Portillo’s is the place to go for Chicago-style hot dogs, burgers, Italian beef sandwiches (which should be ordered extra wet), cheese fries, and, of course, their chocolate cake. I recommend getting the chocolate cake shake. Portillo’s often has a drive-through, but you can come in and sit down for a satisfying meal. Attached and on the other side of the main Portillo’s dining area is their partner restaurant, Barnelli’s, which has good pasta, but Portillo’s is a must while you’re in town.
Maggiano’s Little Italy (3 miles from the hotel)

This restaurant is part of an area called Streets of Woodfield, which is near Woodfield Mall. Other restaurants can also be found here. Consider doing some shopping before you eat. Maggiano’s is a delicious sit-down restaurant that I went to a lot as a kid. If you love Italian food, you won’t be disappointed.
Lou Malnati’s (4.4 miles from the hotel

According to my family and I, Lou’s is the best pizza place in town. Open for lunch and dinner, Lou’s has mouthwatering deep-dish and thin-crust pizza.
